Cancellation and Refunds

How can I cancel my order?
The order can be cancelled any time before dispatch of products. Once the order is dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled. You will get a shipment notification email and SMS once order is dispatched. To cancel your order before dispatch, please raise a support ticket for the same. Once the cancellation request is created, we will ensure that the cancellation and refunds are processed at the earliest.

Why was my order cancelled by Schooltech?
We regret the inconvenience caused due to order cancellation. Your order may have been cancelled due to any of the following reasons:
•    If product is out of stock or has been discontinued
•    Inaccuracies or errors in pricing information
We will inform you about the cancellation of your order and share details if partial order is cancelled or whole. Refund for cancelled orders shall be processed at the earliest.

How and when will I get a refund for the order I cancelled?
Refund will be done by the same method by which payment was made to us. We take around 5 days to issue refunds. Once your refund has been issued, you shall receive an email from us and the refund shall appear in your account within next 7 days. Sometimes financial organizations take a longer time to process the refund request. However, if the refund hasn't been received within 7 days of refund email, raise a support ticket and we shall help you out.

What is the refund amount due to me for cancelled orders?
For orders cancelled before shipment, you would be refunded in full including shipping cost.

What to do if an order is made by mistake and order has been dispatched?
If you have placed an order by mistake and it has been already dispatched, cancellation or refund is not applicable. An order can only be cancelled before dispatch.

Is my order eligible for return or replacement?
Once a product is shipped by us, it cannot be returned. If the product you have received is damaged or defective, then your product may be eligible for return. In this case, raise a support ticket within 3 days of receiving the order.

What if the parcel is not delivered to me but returned back to Schooltech?
Our delivery partners try to deliver your order three times before initiating a return to origin (RTO) to us. If the parcel is returned back to us for any reason, we cancel the order and refunds are processed appropriately.

What is the refund amount due to me for RTO orders?
For courier return to origin (RTO) orders, the refund amount is calculated after deducting both onwards and return shipping charges. Return shipping charges are usually more than onwards shipping charges.

What should I do if I receive a damaged parcel?
All parcels are guaranteed to be in perfect condition when they are dispatched from our warehouse, complete with Schooltech tape that should be visible and intact. Please do not accept any parcel in case the package appears open or packaging appears damaged or tampered with. If you refuse your parcel, report this by opening a support ticket for the same at the earliest.

What to do if I have received a defective item or if my order is incorrect?
If you notice that the items you’ve received are faulty or if your parcel does not contain the items you ordered, please open a support ticket within 3 days of receiving the parcel.

Why did I receive a partial order?
If your order contains items with different delivery time they would be shipped separately to you. Under exceptional circumstances, if we are unable to fulfill your order, we will refund you the full payment made towards that particular product.
